email on 3 broadband

    Hi,
    Can anyone help with error message recived below when trying to send out emails using 3 mobile broadband modem. I ca receive mails ok and up to yesterday had no problems with sending mails. My email service is provided by eircom. Thanks in advance for any help

    The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail2.eircom.net', Server: 'mail2.eircom.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10013, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    You can't use mail2.eircom.net as an outgoing (SMTP) server on anything other than an eircom connection. It will never work with Three. You need to use Three's SMTP server, whatever that is.

    Your account name should not be mail2.eircom.net either, as that's a server name and not an account name. Your account name should be your account name.
