Anyone else get a phone call saying Windows has a virus?

    Just got a weird random phone call this afternoon. The claimed to be from Pc Doctor or something and said that if I am using Windows, that there is harmful bugs and viruses going around and said to bring it to a technician to check it out. It came up as a weird phone number too - 001204.

    Anyone else get this call because it sounds very fishy to me???

    You gotta hand it to those scammer guys. I suppose it's the next progression from the fake popup AV scanner messages.

    Sad fact is, people do fall for it and then it's too late to cancel the credit card transaction.
