iphone 3gs having problems with Facebook and YouTube

    Hey guys, Just posting this problem up for my friend. She got a new 16g 3gs on voda last friday. everything is working fine except facebook and youtube. facebook will load but when you want to do anything it just hangs. also youtube will open but thats it it will not search or load any vids.

    Shes currently on 3.1.3. she has deleted both apps and reinstalled but no joy. I have gone throught the phone with a fine tooth comb to see if there was any restrictions turned on but theyre all off.

    The one thing i did notice weird was when I opened the app store, all the icons down the bottom (Featured, Categories, Top 25 etc) had the same icon. It was the icon of the app store (the one with the paintbrush and the ruler)

    do you reckon she need to reinstall the software again? and if so when she hits restore will it do a back up before it wipes everything. Ive never had to do one so i'm unsure.
