Anyone got any recommendations for a cheap hotel fairly central?

Having a look on Hotels.com and everything centrally seesm to start around £100 per night or more.

Ideally looking to pay around £50-70 per night if possible. I would have thought this would get something slightly better than a hostel.

I was there at the end of Feb - stayed in a place called Hotel Paba http://www.hotelpaba.com/

It's a small place, on the 2nd floor of an old apartment building on Via Cavour. Rooms are nice, big & clean. It's very central - Collisseum is walking distance, as is the forum, nearest metro is Cavour (~150m).

We paid e210 for 3 nights, and felt it was well worth it.

I've stayed in Hotel Des Artistes a few times, and it's been grand - it's about 5 minutes from the central train station (termini). The coliseum is probably about 20 minutes walk.

The hotel has very few amenities itself, but it's comfortable enough. I've stayed there for 6 nations matches, and it's still quite good value for money.

Ive stayed at Navona Vecchio Suites on Via Del Governo Vecchio

I thought it was great , was only €55 a night but i was there just after New Year so it was only that cheap I think because of time of year
