can I claim the 2 missing days?

Hi,

Ive just signed on and was receiving payment via the post office.

However due to exceptional circumstances, I am now receiving payment direct to my bank a/c.

However, I was collecting from the post office on a Tuesday, now I'm told that bank lodgements are made on a Thursday...so..say I pick up my my last money from the p.o on Tuesday, and then the following tuesday there is nothing there for me as its going into my a/c 2 days later (the Thursday) but when Thursday arrives the lodgement I receive is the usual amount for 1 week, but I was expecting for 1 week and 2 days...should I ring them and ask about this or is this just the way things work?

You are still only getting paid for a week, its just a different pay day - there aren't any missing days I don't think. Its just when you get paid via Bank it doesn't take as long as issuing to the Post Office. Its still the same pay period.
