Think i may have been overpaid JSA. I was means tested in January 2010 and allowed 98E a week. I started casual work at beginning of March and put onto casual dockets. JSA was means tested again to take into account means from work. I received a cheque for over 600 this morn. Think they may have processed me as being on full JSA. Trying to ring local welfare office but not getting an answer.

For what period was the cheque for 600? What were your new means including your casual work?
I wouldn't cash any cheque until you speak to them as they could ask for it back if it was issued in error. Can you call into the office at all?

The total on the reconciliation on the cheque was 700 odd less 90E means for the period 10.03.10 - 23.03.10, i don't intend cashing it until i find out why its so high. I had estimated getting a cheque for around 100 as im only getting 2 days work a week 5 hrs a day at 9.00 per hour. They have calculated means at 15.00 per day worked.
