    anyone know where i could get shorthorn crossbred heifers from 300-400 kgs for breeding in a suckler herd???

    there was a guy on donedeal in clare offering pure bred shorthorn bulls in clare, chances are he would have a few heifers if you gave him a shout

    sound for that. seen them there alrite. There in clare though long drive from wexford. when crossed wit limousin you get a great limo cow with milk in d background. cross this with a BB and your sorted!!

    vy gd..they seem a nice cross then! utlimate cow..maybe?would calves not be all colours!if there gd animals+you get them at the right price...you'd be elected,worth the drive!

    thanks wiggy.i know if there decent theyd be worth d drive. i have three cows and a maidin heifer which was inseminated with Archibeau this morning! there 50 lm and 41% SH. BB calves either come blue and white or else all white with a black nose thats my experience wit em anyway. also would like to try a Parthenaise on them. Ive 2 KYLE CHAP calves this year from LM cows and they are showing great potential! do u have any PTS??

    I bought one Shorthorn heifer a few years back with the view to breeding replacements off her. Typical, all bulls so far.:mad:
    She has a lovely temperment but very poor on her feet.

    have a neighbor who has parthenaise cattle, think they may even be pure bred, they look lovely cows and I have heard they have very good temperment but have no first hand experience of them..

    I hear PTS throws great calves, the straws are very hard got..... Whats KYLE CHAP?
