At least try and put some thought into your thread. A few words discussing why you found it sad would go along way.

Macaulay Culkin wants girl, girl doesn't want him, something like that anyway.
Not one that it really sticks in my mind, remember Dan Akroyd was in it aswell.
    This thread will go far...

    Bees got him right?

Is the girl still an actress?

Yeah she's still doing a bit of acting apparently.

Was in the 2009 film In the Loop.

If Home Alone had ended with Joe Pesci flooding the house with bees it may have been one of the greatest endings of all time

The kid was allergic to everything, bees did him a favour so he didn't have live his life sick all the time!

I think Jamie Lee Curtis played a traveller in it too!

Used to like it as a kid. Stopped watching it after I asked the mammy to rent that film with "the poor bastard who gets stung by bees". My arse was as red as the poor divil's face at the end of it after that one

This is on Living TV at the moment, so I'm half-watching it. It's already a bit uncomfortable - I mean, Vada thinking she has prostate cancer? Oh dear ... :o

edit: OK, it's a "coming of age" story. Funny how reviews seem to focus on Macaulay and what happens to his character, when the film was really about Vada (Anna Chlumsky) and how screwed up she was. I think the makers of Six Feet Under were influenced by this, the question of what growing up in a funeral home does to a kid, how you relate to death when it happens to someone you know, and so on.

Even though I'd never seen it before, it's such a famous film that I instantly recognised Anna when I saw In The Loop recently. She still looks the same, except she's bigger and has a much wider vocabulary!

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
