older financial reports

    hi,

    i am currently doing a project comparing financial reporting now to that of the past, say pre 1980s.I am expected to give examples of actual sets of accounts but am finding it very difficult to get older financial reports. When i go onto individual firms financial report archieves thay only usually go back as far as mid 1990s. Anyone know any firms who have accounts online for this era. I found Motorola and Wal Mart

    Hi

    The CRO only went online about 1991 or so.

    In order to get accounts back further then this you will have to go into the public office in 14 Parnell Square and they can be ordered on microfich or some other hard copy.

    You will find older hardcopy annual reports in university libraries.
