Anyone else notice that since the change to Summer Time on Sunday, the EPG is out by an hour, behind in fact. EG RTE Six-One News listed as 17:01-18:00.
The main time signal has been automatically advanced an hour however.
Not only that, but it's confusing my combo receiver, as the satellite time is still GMT, which has to be compensated for by changing the "Summer Time" menu option, but this then advances the DTT clock another hour.
How did people using combo receivers cope last year?

On my Sony V4500 I noticed the time had "sprung forward" by 2 hours.

Found the problem in the "Home - Settings - Digital Set Up - Technical Set up - Auto DST" Menu. With "Auto DST" set to "ON" the TV adds an extra hour to the transmitted time (Time Zone set to "GMT").

Same problem with the epg as you rurs, 1 hour behind. RTÉNL have some tweaking to do I guess.

Same on Humax HDCI 2000T. Irish DTT an hour ahead but when switching to UK Freeview channels (all in same epg) time goes back to correct BST. Time setting on Auto. This is playing havoc with recording schedules with Irish DTT!

The Sony's don't seem to like the change at all! Clock appears an hour ahead of what it should be now, can't remember model number.
However, my own Samsung 32B550 displays the time correctly after switchover.
The Walker WP10DTB set top box also displays the correct time.

That's the one. I'm away for the next fortnight for Easter though so won't have access to one to photo, sorry :( Will try and get pics up ASAP after Easter.

If you happen to live near one of the 8 powercity branches, drop in, they should have it up on display. I know for a fact the Tallaght branch has one out, setup and can be demonstrated working if you ask one of the guys on sales to show you. They are a little on the expensive side but are very nippy little boxes, very fast MHEG decoder, superb picture quality if you use the HDMI output, and they have a USB port which quite shortly should let you hook up a hard drive to use as a basic PVR and a CAM slot, both located behind a flap on the front right of the unit.

Well I wouldn't pay more than 60 for it. What a crazy price. The Walker brand was set up by an ex Mitsubishi Engineer. A lot of their televisions were like clones of Mitsubishi or so I read on the net. I found Mitsubishi products to be very reliable and of excellent quality. :)

Well the clock/EPG issue is resolved, it's gone back to GMT, allowing the extra hour to be added by the STB.
Next time this happens is October 31st - also the deadline for DTT rollout...
Do most STBs allow this adjustment? My combo receiver does, but the Sagem Picnic doesn't, although I don't use that since getting the combo box. What I'm wondering is if there's anything in the specs RTE published for STBs about this, and whether it might crop up again, because it's really a mess having two different time signals on one receiver.

    right.. Thats it.. I'm convinced.

I'm convinced that RTENL engineers are reading this forum, cos problems only get fixed when we post here.

Anyone want to put their hand up ?

Thanks for the update, I reset Auto DST to "ON" and all is well.
