Userland Exploites and jailbreaks for everyone

Hi guys, I didn't see anything posted about this so I though I would share the news.

Now, you might be asking yourself what does this mean to me?

Well there have not been any userland (safari based) exploits since FW1.1.2 (anyone remember jailbreakme.com?) but this can also be used as an injection vector for an unteathered jailbreak.

Now there are two people working on this as per usual.

GeoHot, the egotistical little pr*ck who unlocked the first iPhone and is responsible for blackrain. Here is his contribution

So for those of you stuck with 3.1.3 or teathered jailbreak you should see this release very soon.

Oh and one more thing, this should also work on the iPad, so basically it has already been rooted.

Userland exploits are fixes very quickly, so my advice to all the new vodafone users out there is this.

DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PHONE NO MATTER WHAT ITUNES SAYS.

Ill keep this thread updated about what's happening and provide a full tutorial when released.
