New Maps in other playlists?

So i'm guessing these new maps wont be going into the Team Deathmatch playlist then! I hate all other game modes in Mw2!!!!

P.s good god HQ is the worst game mode ever! ☺

Who cares? The bare bones of the game is killing other people to rack up points. God forbid you should have an objective game thrown your way once in a while that requires the slightest bit of teamwork or strategy.

This is another example of where Treyarch WAW is ahead of IW. You could select to play the map packs any way you wanted.

This will be changed soon I'd say to include all game maps for all game modes.

Yes it will, just like with any DLC for previous versions. They just need to wait until enough people have downloaded it.

Really Plssed off with this.

First I buy this and couldn't connect to anyone last night at all.
Then this morning i find out the maps that i did buy you cannot play in all modes.

In all the advertisements/hype I do not rememeber that they mentioned that " oh by the way when you have downloaded the map and finally got it to work you can't play it" If that was the case i wouldn't have bought the map in the first place till they had this sorted.

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

on the old MW1 you had a choice of TDM or TDM new map pack, surely that's not to hard to set up, or in WAW ya just got bumped out.. But to not allow anyone play them in FFA or TDM is a bit messed up... Just another example of them bendins us over and..... well i'll let ye fill in the blanks on that one

i just posted a similar question before i saw and replied to this one but got another update on mine saying that they are rolling the new maps to all game modes today

I think there is a slight over reaction here tbh.

I read, either in this thread or another within the forum, that the new maps will be integrated with all game modes over next day or two.

The original source is something on twitter, don't have it to hand.

But i guess peoples reaction was spot on as this wasnt the original plan, they are doing it based on the amount of negative feedback they received..... So complaining does at times have its benefits

I downloaded all the map packs for WAW. For a relatively short period of time (perhaps 1 week), the downloaded maps were only available in limited game types, around 4 if I can remember correctly - but you could still choose e.g. TDM, HQ, S&D etc.

For this stimulus, I would prefer to be able choose game type, rather than random game types, but I'm not going to loose any sleep about it.
