    Hi
I will soon be selling my small farm 12 acres and small 3 bedroom house newly renovated.
Now I have never done this before so any help would be great .
What should I be looking for in an auctioneer
    What do they cost
    And how do I know a good 1 from a bad 1
I know these are stupid questions but this is a first for me the house is in Carlow

Word of mouth is always a good start. Do you know anyone in the area? Can they recommend a good auctioneer to you?

If not, then I guess google is your friend. Look up local auctioneers in Carlow. Check out their websites, see what they have for sale. Ring them up and set up a meeting to discuss fees. Negotiate your fees and get any agreement in writing. Compare fees in various places. Just generally keep your ears and eyes open.

It wont be easy and it's difficult to sell anything at the moment but you might get lucky. Best of luck
