unlocking iphone please

hi i have the older apple iphone i got from the usa about 2 yrs ago , i updated it by mistake on itunes and now its blocked the sim , is there any one who i can bring it to that will fix it i have had it at one shop last week and he said he unlocked it then it locked it self again i dont think he had a clue to be honest ,…
