05 Volve S40 Timing Belt Change??

    Hi all.

    I've a volvo s40, 2005 2.0D, does anybody know at what mileage the timing belt needs to be changed?

    I've looked around the web but I've some across all sorts of mileages.

    Any help, much appreciated.

    Volvo workshop manual says 10 years or 144,000 miles

    03 on 1.8 engined volvo's are chain driven. 1.6's are belt driven and its every 84k miles(125.000kms) on an 05.

    Nissan Doctors right--Its a chain on them.

    I'll be changing mine at 200k ... :)

    You wouldn't know if a tensioners failed before the 240 ...
