Anybody been to a wedding in the UK?

    Hi,

    I'm going to a wedding in the UK next weekend. I'm lucky that I don't have to buy anything new. I am wondering about the dresscode. Do people wear broadly similar styles to what's worn here or are they more conservative?

    Anybody been to a wedding there?

    There are no differences between mainstream weddings there and mainstream weddings here. Same as here you should think classic rather then high fashion, understated rather them Bling.

    Was at a wedding recently in London, was similar to what you'd expect here, lots of coast and Karen Millen dresses. Funnily enough I noticed that there was very little fake tan though!

    They tend to be less 'blingier' if you get me, otherwise much the same.

    Check out Four Weddings on E4/Channel 4 / More4. Its always bein repeated. You can have a gawk at the style :) I love that show, such drama, lol!

    Looks to me like they wear the same kind of stuff we do here, you should have no worries at all!
