What bus (or buses?) do I need to take to get to St. Stephen's Green leaving from Spencer Dock (North Wall Quay, Upper Sheriff Street, IFSC area)

    There is no direct bus.

The 151 from East Road and Docklands Station will take you to Dame Street (returns from Bachelors Walk and Eden Quay). You can take it to Connolly and then a 128 to St Stephen's Green.

Alternatively walk to Connolly and take the 128 from there.

Looks like a 53 and then a 10 (or any number of other buses), but walking could be quicker and easier.

You can get more detail at dublinbus.ie by looking up the route timetable (e.g. 53) and then clicking the map icon.

I used to work near Bolton Street and it was an easy twenty minute walk from Stephens Green, ten minutes to the Liffey and ten minutes on the other side. I think with traffic, waiting on buses etc. walking would be as quick, for free and would do no harm ;)

I'd say the 128 is my best bet. Just take the Luas from the Spencer Dock Luas stop to Busarus and take the 128 from there.

Walking is fine, but I don't fancy doing it in the cold and wet.

    Thanks for your help

You could also use a Dublin Bike. There is a station at both IFSC and Stephens Green.

I'd actually recommend getting off the Luas at Abbey St and walking the short distance to Eden Quay to catch the 15/15a or 15b. They are a bit more frequent than the 128.

Would the 74/74A from grand canal dock (britton quay) be any use? Walk across the new samuel beckett bridge?
