Hi,

I recently took voluntary redundancy and am wondering do i have to register with the social for jobseekers benefit immediately? Is there a limited amount of time within which I need to apply after taking redundancy?

I wanted to take some time off before returning to work. My stamps are fuly paid up so the money would come in handy while I am on time off but not if I have to continually 'prove' I am looking for work, which I will not be initially.
