At moment we are spending a few weeks in Turkey in the summer.Rather than fly straight to Istanbul we thought we might fly to Budapest or Vienna for a few days and then either take train(sleeper 2 days) or fly to Istanbul. On return we would fly Istanbul to Munich for couple of days and then fly home. Which Is the best way…

Which Is the best way to book, this on internet with say aer lingus/Ryanair/turkish airlines and book as single flights or use a travel agent.

Also does this itineray seem OK or would people recommend other cities we are totally flexible my concern is the flight/train Budapest to Istanbul
