Expensive form study tools...

Just wondering is there anyone out there who uses products like the irish form book and the various timeform publications.
Stuff like this is so expensive, and I'm trying to figure out if any of it is worth investing in and if so, which ones do people find valuable??
For example, the Irish form book costs over 300 quid for a year of weekly race analysis and comments-in-running for every race in Ireland. Is a product like this a valuable resource for finding future winners?
    Any opinions welcome :D....

I found the Irish form book to miss vital information - yes it has in-running comments BUT it is the bare minimum. Say a horse gets checked - it doesn't mention where it got checked, severity of check and result in distance from leader after check. It doesn't mention pace, settling position in relation to leader OR how they jumped from the barriers.

With all the information online you are best looking at it yourself.

This is all you need to worry about. Its possible to see every race any horse ran be it on ATR or Racing Uk.All you have to do is sign up to the site and you can access the archives. Racing post site will also be helpful.

It really is the age of Information isn't it?

All we need is a site that can show us different camera angles for each race :D

A better one would be a site to look into the future and give us the winner of every race.
