Looks like I'm getting a ride down to Clarinbridge on day soon. So I want to use the opportunity to draw up a public-transport neighbourhood map, like I've done recently for Claregalway.

I'll be doing some preparation with Google Maps - but it looks like there were a few clouds out the day their satellite photos were taken. So a couple of questions:

Are there any industrial estates / business parks in the area? By that, I mean roughly within walking distance from the village (say, within 15-20 mins walk, along a road that is safe-enough for pedestrians).

And more generally, what the are major community facilities in the village?

This may be of interest to you. Tom Cussen the banjo player with Shaskeen has his shop/workshop just to the north of the town. Famous around the world for his hand made banjos & old collectable banjos.
