Mac Pro - AppleCare Protection Plan in sealed box

    Ok need a little help guys, the other half bought be an apple care plan as a present before xmas went to use it today but before opening it relaised it was for a pro mac instead of my imac im sure it wouldnt usually be hard to change it but the company she bought from has since gone into liquidation

    I currently have it for sale on adverts at hugely reduced price to try recoup something but is this all i could do??

    would there be any chance of apple exchanging it?? its still sealed in the box and everything

    Try contacting Apple. Afaik they do offer refunds for Applecare. It's been the cause of some people getting burnt from buying codes on Ebay.

    Where did she buy it from? It would probably need to have been bought from an authorised Apple reseller. And you would need the receipt of course.

    dont have the actual recipt but think it could be on the credit card sstatement would they accept that?? will give them a buzz cheers :)
