Drove late model mtx 175 and mtx 200 for different contractors. Both were nothing but trouble from new, the 200 had a new transmission at 1500 hrs. Only done 2500 hrs! It also goes into limp mode now and diagnostics checks show up nothing. Pretty basic on the inside, terrible steering lock, and not very heavy on the nose compared to similar machines so needs alot of balasting to make use of the hp. I think its more of a farmers machine than a contractors tbh.

has the 175 r 200 the full powershift box?? heard something of a gap between 8+9 gear,,and then a bang after a while,, this 140 just has powerquad...

pajero did i say that .....no but if it satisfies you ask away:rolleyes:

snowman if you read my comment i left a negative comment towards a jd too, so im not blowing the proverbial john deere trumpet!! i just left the experience i had with an mx140.
tractors of all makes and models new or old may or may not give trouble

    :P
