Anyone use software / websites to record & analyze your statistics ?

Just looking for a few recommendations... I know of a few like http://www.strokeaverage.com/ but I'm not sure which to go for...

35 per year seems a bit steep!

golfshot.com you can put it on an iphone/itouch if you have one, very handy, if the course you are playing is't on there website, scan a scorecard and email it to them and they will have it up within 3 days

That looks great... Don't have an iPhone though unfortunately

I tried www.keepmygolfscore.com, but the website throws a lot of database errors & doesn't offer much statistical analyisis other than recording your score, fairways, greens & putts.

I might go with something like this:

Just as a matter of interest - does anyone use this sort of thing and if so is it of any benefit? Each round too me is very different can be windy, raining, wet underfoot etc. You could play a great round in a gale and hit few fairways, greens etc yet play worse on a totally calm day yet your stats would be lots better. So just interested in how they are used.

I use Scorecard, from cynical peak. http://cynicalpeak.com/scorecard/
    The stats are fairly in-depth.

    Scoring Averages
    Greens in Regulation
    Fairways Hit
    GIR when Fairways Hit
    Average Putts per Hole
    Average First Putt Distance
    Scrambling
    Scoring Averages

You can also set how the wind is for a certain round, type notes for every hole etc. There's an iPhone app for recording your round, then you just sync it up to the program on your laptop or PC over a wireless network. There's a lot more to it and they update it all the time.I'd recommend it.

Just d/l'd this for the iphone, playing this avo so I'll post here later or tomorrow and let you know how it is, although after one round it might be a bit vague.

Still worth doing though. Also if anyone can recommend any good golf related apps please do. I have the PGA one and the Masters one set up in anticipation, that should be great, watching amen corner live on your phone!

you will not be able to watch it live as its only avalaible in the states, golfshot is great you will really see it work after 6/7 rounds

Wireless 18 is the one I use. You don't need an iPhone to run it, can record a fourball scorecard with ease, taking any sidegames or handicaps into account. Card is published to your online profile with the push of one button.

Also very easy to put the details of your home course online too.
