    So i decided to make a homemade macro ring flash that is absolutely ridiculous looking but i have to say, it actually works amazingly so i was wondering if anyone else has any homemade photography equipment which they wish to share with us :)

    excellent stuff people. i too got some welding glass. works fine but is sometimes hard to keep light out and casts a horrible greeny colour that can't really be brought back to normal with white balance correction.

    have ou taken any photos with your homemade camera and if so, could you post them. i'd be very interested to see them :)

    Jaysus, them phots are wicked, they actually look as if they were taken in the early 1900. great schtuff altogether :)

    When I first started using my dad's camera, I was paranoid about taking it outside the house, but alas had no camera bag. I did, however, have ample supplies of duct tape and the polystyrene from the box our new t.v came in :D

    It's not the most economical, space-wise, but it does have removable inserts for when I have a longer lens on it! It'll tide me over until I can afford a proper bag, anyway :P

    I've made a few cameras alright.

    I had a ceramic 10x8 a good while back, but I think it got scrapped :-/
