Online money transfer. How long?

    Hi I just recently opened an ulsterbank current account. Earlier today i transferred some money from my existing aib account into my new UB account via aib online banking.

    When i checked my UB account balance in an ATM just there it hasn't gone in.:(

    My UB online banking has not been set up yet (still waiting for documentation) so i cannot see if it is pending clearance (like a cheque).

    Is this normal?

    Everyone i know is with aib and when i transfer money into there accounts it just go's in instantly.

    Takes a day or two between different banks.
