    Hello

    I am not looking for advice on this situation but rather if anyone had the same experience and what was th outcome.

    I booked a hotel on my credit card this morning and about and hour later I noticed I fecked up the dates. Booked it for the weekend prior to what I actually wanted.

    So I called up the hotel (who I have another booking with for this month) and asked them to change my dates.

    The booking hadnt even gone into the system properly yet.
    She told me that cos i booked them online with the advance purchase rates you cannot change this booking at all and that its 100% non refundable. I argued that I didnt want a refund, simply move the dates and give you an extra 40 quid (thats the price difference between the 2 weekends)
    She said she will have to look into it and call me back.

    Has this happened anyone before? Did you get a happy ending?

    Or am I stuck paying for a room I wont be using.
