GAA Website - Joomla

    Hi Guys,

I am designing a new website for my local GAA club and am trying to get my head around Joomla. I am using a plugin called joomLeague which allows you to update fixtures and leagues update from the results of these fixtures. All sounds great but unfortunately it is only directed to soccer users it seems and when you try to enter in a GAA score it just resets it to 1 all. Anyone know anyway around this or any other plugins that would work for me?

    Thanks a Million in advance
    Colm

You probably have to tweak the Javascript or PHP code to allow 1-10 and scores like it to be entered. Simple enough job.

Yeah I saw KerryGAA are using it alright. i might pop them an email.

Do you have any idea how I could access the PHP or Javascript code in Joomla?? I'm relatively new to using joomla.

    Thanks again

The PHP code for the component should be in components\com_joomleague folder.
Edit: Just took a look at the component there and the match results code looks like its in the classes\match.class.php file.

Thanks a million for all the help but at the risk of sounding stupid, where do I find this components folder? I have components in the CMS and Joomleague is there but I can't see any way of editing the PHP files from there?

    Thanks again

Editing PHP files should be done via FTP not through the CMS.
