    Hey
Has anybody been to Juicy Couture in Kildare Village? I'm planning to tip down to it next week but just wondered if the discount is good? Is it really 60% off or is it just lik 10 or 20%?? If anybody could give me some feedback I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

While it is definitely well worth the visit, I'm not convinced by the claims of 60% off ...there are some items that are always heavily discounted and you do pick up the odd bargain or two but in general I think its more like 10% off ( if even). I was there 2 weeks ago and the place was empty ( although it was a Wednesday morning)...

Not sure if you'll get the 60% off but like I say, it is worth the visit IMO

Did you buy anything? If you did is the stock really old or is it realtively new? Also would it be better just to head up to BT's and buy new stock at full price?

I didn't buy anything, was just in for a nosey to be honest. I've bought quite a bit in there in the past though. The stock looked relatively new, there are lots of other stores down there too which is what I like about the place.

BT's would probably have more up to date stock but I can't be sure I'm afraid

I went up and was not that impressed. New bags were retailing for approx €220 (some were €205)in brown Thomas in Cork. I went up to kildare village and there were bags in there where they were claiming the original price was €260 which does not ring correct to me I have not found them that expensive before in BT's or in UK so I wondered what exchange rate they used! So the outlet price only seems low compared to these original prices they stated.

Fluffy pink bags were €136, Day dreamers were €160 - €170 and avilable in light pink, black with gold/cream, brown with gold/cream and there was one sky blue one.

Jewellery varied there was a nice gold chain for €50 euro that was about the lowest others ranged upwards of that to €120 approx.

Velour hoodies were about €53 euro I think.

I didnt't buy anything myself. I'd sooner pay €220/€205 for a brand new bag in the newer colours than €170 in the outlet.

have been to kildare village a few times and i dont think its good at all. Ive bought nothing. but I have been to woodbury commons in new york, which looks like kildare village but about 80 times bigger and has soooooooo many more shops and the bargains are WAY better so i think i was spoilt and expected the same in kildare. but the bargains arent good at all

They really need to bring down the prices and make it a proper outlet and people will spend the money for items that arent in season.

    Hi,
My husband went in the store on its opening day to buy me new day dreamer bag for my birthday (which is next week). Typical man in a womens shop that was packed, he got the wrong colour bag! He went back in and all the bag were sold out so he asked for a refund so he could go to BT. The shop assistant said they didnt do refunds and would only give a credit note! Embaressed and not wanting to question her he took the credit note. I then went into the shop to see was there any other bag he could get, needless to say there wasnt. I then spoke to the shop assistant and she told me they were getting a delivery in 5 days time and black and navy bags were due in, I explained that they were the colours I wanted to she said to pop in Tuesday and she would put two away for me. Of course I was in bright and early Tuesday morning to first be told they were sold out and then told oh no the delivery didnt come in! It will be in this week so ill phone you if you give me your number. Anyhow A girls left me a voice mail yesterday to say they would be in today and to pop over so I did! The bags they got in were BRIGHT green, orange and pink!!!!! I said I wasnt happy and at this stage I wanted a refund so my husband could get the right bag in BT. I was told there was no chance of me ever getting a refund and that my credit note was valid for a year! I asked can I use the credit note in another Juicy shop? The answer NO as a different company owns the Juick in Kildare Village!!!! I explained agin that my husband was trying to buy me a bag for my 30th party which is next weekend and waiting god knows how long is not good enough, also that I would not allow my husband to spend another 205 odd euro on a bag in Bt and be stuck with a credit note for their shop! Her reply to this was " buy someone a gift from it!!!!". During my 20 minutes in the shop I was made to feel degraded and was also told the sales of goods + service act 1980 at least ten times!!!!! I have come away form the store in Kildare Village a VERY VERY unhappy customer of Juicy Couture and stuck with a credit note that is llike a till reciept!I feel sorry for my husband who was trying to do a good thing and now any good involved in it is gone!
My advice to anyone who is thinking of going there DONT!!!!! stick to the main Juicy shops in Dublin, the staff up there are lovely and i've never had a problem returning a gift up there!!!

Sorry, but it seems to me that they didn't do anything wrong.
Your husband made a mistake and got the wrong bag. They were sold out of the colour you wanted so there wasn't much they could do. They are not obliged to give you a refund. They seem like they're trying their best to help you at the moment.
Regarding delivery, I don't work in a fashion store but I did manage a shop before and sometimes you just don't get all your stock that you thought was coming. It depends on head office usually. I've no idea how they operate in Juicy Couture but I presume it would be similar. They are ringing you to let you know they got bags in stock. Give them a break.

You're turning 30 but you sound very spoiled and childish. You have the credit note for a year. Relax a bit and you'll probably get your bag soon enough. Chances are if they're selling out that quick you can be sure they'll order more in. Don't try and give a shop a bad name when really the blame is on your part.

Someone else mentioned Woodbury Common in NY. It would be great if we even had one of these in Ireland. A proper outlet mall with real discounts. I don't mind getting last seasons stock if it's at a great discount. If you're going to do it, do it right.

OP, I'd say you're better off ringing the shop with the stock number/description of the bag and see what it's retailing at. You might prefer to buy a new one in Brown Thomas or decide that the discount is worth it. Good luck.

Thanks! There isn't anything that I want in particular but I have bought Juicy Couture stuff before and it's a bit pricey. Last week I bought Juicy Jeggings for €98! That was before I realised it had opened at Kildare Village!

Most shops will only give a credit note if the goods aren't faulty! It's a pity you had to call to the shop a couple of times! Can I just ask if the bag he bought was well discounted or was there just 10% off as it's not really worth going down just to save €20!!

100% agree with you, there was nothing wrong with the bag and they were completely within their rights giving a credit note.

Are there Juicy pyjamas? My boyfriend bought me a lovely pair about 18 months ago and they are just so nice, good length and really nice cotton, I hate having to wait until they come out of the wash before buying a new pair :(

i was in kildare village and saw the juicy store and thought it looked really fun so i went in (i'm not normally a juicy fan). I ended up buying two full tracksuits, some tees and a pair of jeggings they seem to be good quality and wash really well! The girl in the store put my name on a list for there starter bracelet and necklace which start at 23euro. I will definately be shopping there again.:):):)
