Sorry, couldn't resist.
Don't know any free apps, just don't use the computer until you find one, as disk activity will decrease your chances of recovering the files.

Only free on I know for Mac is Photorec. Its very Unixy and clunky but it does work for the listed filetypes. Download from here.
