My wife and I will be coming over to Leitrim for 3 nights. Can anyone recommend reasonable self catering or hotel accommodation in the Leitrim area?

The Leitrim Marina Hotel is based in Leitrim village, and has hotel rooms and apartments to rent out for weekends, it looks on to the water and is lovely, check out http://www.leitrimmarinahotel.com/

If you are based in Carrick-on-Shannon, I've stayed in Carrick Plaza Suites, http://www.carrickplazasuites.ie/ They are 2 and 3 bed luxury apartments beside the Landmark and are fab, big flat screen tvs and comfy beds etc.

Murtaghs also do self catering beside their pub, a bit more basic but ok for a night or 2 for a few lads, http://www.carrickplazasuites.ie/
