New iphone 3g 8gig unlock query

    Folks

    I was interested in selling my htc hero to buy an 3gs, however i have been offered a 3g vanilla as a trade instead, which i may try, i spose i can always sell it if the s offers features that i need.

    it was recently purchased in the states, so i assume it has recent software.

    Are there any versions of the iphone 3g 8gig that cannot be unlocked yet using the soft unlock methods?

    Software 3.1.3 can't be unlocked just yet, but i highly doubt it that 3g 8gig will have 3.1.3, it will probably be less than that, you can check with the seller.
