It might take a while though, the Venom GT has been on the go for a good while and it's only hit boards now! :D

On the note of setting up a car company ... think about it.

10 units per year at £700k, give revenue of £7m.

Imagine the cost to develop and license the technology to build the car, years of testing etc .....

the return on investment would be tiny if any !!

Off-the-shelf engine and control systems. Bought-in chassis, albeit too short/small, so ask the guys you bought it from to make the necessary adjustments. Testing. All in you could probably do it for less.

The $700k asking price might be a problem now that all the property developers are up the creek without a paddle (altho Alan Hanly might be able to swing something): drop some of the exotic materials and produce 80% the car for 20% the price.

Very nice but to be honest I'd say they are producing 10 a year more so out of necessity, put a marketing spin on it, say its to make it exclusive when its because their customer base is probably non existent at the moment.. and the 10 they are building will keep them in business for the next car to be produced.

Very few people willing to spend £700k on car like that in this current economic climate..

Still would be nice to take out on a track for an hour or two.. :D
