Advanced driving lessons

I originally posted this in 'Learning to Drive', which may have been the wrong forum. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by re-posting it here.

I would love to take some advanced driving lessons. Does anyone know of a suitable driving instructor in the Enniscorthy/Gorey/Arklow area? I bought both the Roadcraft and IAM books a couple of years ago and have been using some of those techniques, but I really need some tutoring as well. Has anyone any experience with the Irish IAM?

    Many thanks

It looks like a meeting of IAM (UK) members was held in Laois recently with a view to settings up a Southern Irish branch in 2010.

Though I am a wee bit confused, as I thought this was what the Irish Advanced Motorists was ...

What are you looking to achieve?

Do you have a full license and want to brush up on your skills or learn advanced skills?

Are you a learner and looking for a highly credited instructor?

A lot of normal driving schools offer advanced driving lessons
    E.g. www.airportdrivingschool.com

30% off your premium with most companies if you've completed one of these - got all the documents about it before from Aviva but never followed it up. Think it was Dublin based OP.

Yes, full license holder for 18 years. Having a reduced premium would be nice, but it's not my main aim. I would simply like to increase my skill and become a safer/better driver. I have been reading roadcraft and putting some of those techniques into use. The feeling of getting it right is wonderful ... I now want to be able to do it repeatedly :)

They're Hibernian, aren't they? Yes, I believe they are the only ones that will offer a discount to advanced drivers.
