    Hello,

im building a bungalow with a length of 71 feet. Internal walls are to be stud partition.

I was thinking of building one block wall in towards the centre of the house, at front and back wall. I mean like a tee wall coming in to give support to the 71 foot, 8 inch cavity wall.

I dont want to do this really as its more cold bridge to the foundation. I have contemplated building these walls on the reinforced slab.

Would i need support for a wall like this? Can anyone advise of another method please?

I will use manufactured roof trusses.

    thank you

That is really a question for your supervising engineer. You'll need a professional to design and approve a spec for it.

You are asking for advice of a structural nature and unfortunately our forum charter prohibits any discussions on structural components. As advised above you will need to retain the services of a structural engineer.
