Continue music played after scores in Aviva Stadium?

Was not really a fan of the music played when an Irish try was scored in Croke Park.

I hope this is not brought forward to the new Aviva Stadium (Lansdowne Road).

    What do other people think?

Should music be played after a try is scored in the new Aviva Stadium? 50 votes

I think it's a non issue and wouldn't care if they played the Spice Girls.

    And it's Lansdowne.

As long as they get rid of that terrible announcer (sorry mate) I don't mind about the music.

Does there need to be a thread for this? I can see this becoming bad

I will also refer to the stadium as Lansdowne Road but thought we had to call it its official name on this forum.

I'm just interested to get an anonymous idea of what other people thought about the music played. If you don't like it don't contribute.

Get rid of it, that's what fans are there for, to cheer on their team and it's all drowned out by silly music.

Yes to getting rid of the PA announcer too, he is terrible whoever he is but if it's an either/or then get rid of the music. Leave the fanfare to the fans.

I've no problems with a stadium announcer but the guy in Croke Park just isn't my cup of tea, he mispronoucnes players names, screeches into the mic at times and imho he isn't up for the job. He even tries to drum up some support with his announcing, like the music, leave the atmosphere to the fans and we'll get on grand.

what has Matt Williams got to do with the poll, is it the former NSW/Leinster coach or someone else entirely, just a question

Tough going keeping track of the score without him?

The score I could manage, the official match time not so much, so he did come in handy.

Aye that was my point - my theory was that connacht had ripped the space time continuum by scoring in under 2 minutes, hence resulting in time going backwards, minutes with 80 seconds in them, and the first 1-0 score i've ever seen in rugby.

That is surely not true, is it?

How would that work even. Warnings and bans? Nah, no way.
