    Lads and ladies
This has probably been done to death. But recently moved house beside a golf coarse whilst i walk the dog in the neighboring field I've collected a 100+ golf balls. Some are like new and some having been sitting in mud in the ditch. Some are very badly water stained but appear to be top golf balls Titleist pro v1, Dunlop and Nike to name a few (one presumes these are good balls) etc.
Any tips as to how to get the water stains off. Wouldn't mind cleaning them up a little. Anytips,
    Cheers

Try scrubbing them with an old toothbrush in warm soapy water.

I saw a dozen Pro V 1 lake balls in Tesco today for €13.95. I assume they're genuine? Only thing is they didn't have a glossy finish, looked like they had been cleaned by some abrasive method. I didn't buy them for that reason.

Yeah there's a big "who ha" regarding the quality of lake balls ... how long they've lain in the water etc. Titleist are very particular about the marketability of these balls, not giving the same assurances as to their playability ... wouldn't play them as my gamers, but I'd bring them down to The European Club to lose

They were from Secondchance.co.uk. You know, looking at it again, maybe it was only a six-pack I saw?

A thread about cleaning golf balls. I've heard it all, now.
    It's not exactly rocket science.

There was a stat in the paper last week .... that 8/10 people under 25 dunno how to use a washing machine .. on that evidence I beg to differ @ rocket science

    *whispers* .. (it's not confined to U25's)
