Hi! Had toothe filled 2.5 weeks ago. Few days after I got a huge lump on the roof of my mouth, followed by cuts on my tongue, followed by the world most sensitive teeth - they are killing me!!! I also need to have a root canal and had antibiotics for the infection in that tooth which is beside the one with the filling.…

Hi!

Had toothe filled 2.5 weeks ago. Few days after I got a huge lump on the roof of my mouth, followed by cuts on my tongue, followed by the world most sensitive teeth - they are killing me!!!

I also need to have a root canal and had antibiotics for the infection in that tooth which is beside the one with the filling.

Anyone any ideas I can`t stick this? Could it be the filling or the infected tooth (which since the antibiotics is fine)? Could it be the metal filling?

your problem could be from either of the 2 teeth. just depends on how bad they were in the first place. You really need to go back to the dentist for a proper diagnosis now. With luck all the pain/swelling is from the infected tooth.
