The Digidesign RM 1 and 2 speakers. I'm looking for opinions of the folk here. I've read manuals and reviews.

Has anyone here heard these speakers? Anyone own a pair?

I've heard PMCs before, love them but can't afford them, so these more affordable PMC designed boxes attract me. I like the idea of the digital crossover too. How do they compare to Yamaha NS10s?

And would I be able to use the with a Spdif output?

    More affordable? where?? :D

Paul had/has a set of ex demo PMC TB2A's in that range and they sound the absolute BOLLOX.... chat to him see if he still has um.

RM1 and 2 come up on ebay quite often, it seems to be because Digi have a bad rep. Less than half price most of the time, so for the smaller one it's about €400. No PMC is that cheap surely?

Thanks for the info, will chat to Paul. Are those active?

The other attractive thing about the RM1/2 is you get a "free" DA.
