Maglite in Lidl

the one in lidl is quite big and chunky and the other one is not great. you are better off with an led lenser torch. smaller but better. the light from the big one is the same as my small lenser and the difference in size is huge. mine is only four - five inches. and it has a back switch rather than up on the front

I think i will still pick one up. Not for airsoft just to have a decent tourch in the house ;)

Maglites are pretty good, I used to use one when I was working in Security. They're not so good for tactical use which makes them less viable for airsoft and of course, in airsoft you don't get to avail of the secondary function.

Same price as argos, so nothing special.

ah yea why not. they are good as an every day torch plus if you have it beside the bed at night and meet a burglar on the stairs they make a great bat. they weigh a lot when loaded with batteries. :D:D:D.

Is this torch a "police" size one? A big one? lol  I was under the impression that it was small.

Nah, its a fullsize one. I taped one to my UMP one time, was quite funny.

I've used alot of torches in my line of work and I couldn't agree with you more. LED Lenser's are great. The only instance where a mag is superior is when it comes to flaking a lad with it :D

Lads, this is an airsoft forum, not a "lets beat someone up with a torch" forum. Maglites and similar torches are just that, torches, not weapons.

    Thanks
