    Hi everyone,

Quick question: Are Komplett okay to deal with? Anybody had any good/bad experiences with them in the past?

Anyone know if they can be tricky about their 14 day cooling off period?

    Thanks in advance.

I bought a router/modem from them, it was incompatible with my ISP hardware. Nothing wrong with the router (and I made that clear), but they took it back anyway.

So, my experience has been positive.

i often buy from them, very good service, but i bought a 4GB RAM kit from them before (2x2GB sticks), about six months later i started to get BSOD's regularly and what have you, and by process of elimination discovered that one of the sticks of RAM was bad. so i e-mailed komplett, next day they e-mailed me the RMA request form and told me that both sticks had to be returned as they were bought as a kit (one item). a week later i had two brand new sticks of 2GB RAM in the laptop... :)

Good company to deal with in general, have bought loads off them in the past. As I understand the key with returns under the cooling off period where you simply do not want an item anymore, is that the item is returned in a resaleable condition (ie the item has not been used and the packaging is the same condition as was recieved in etc). If it cannot be sold again as new, then you may have to take a bit of a deduction omn the refund of the the original price.

I had a bad experience with them two years ago. I had one Gigabyte return to them and after six weeks they still werent after testing it to make sure it was bad. I knew myself it was DOA because I used to work building and repairing computers. So I had to get onto them to get a move on. It then took another two weeks for them just to tell me that the motherboard was dead and that they didnt have another in stock or wont get anymore in and that I had to pick another motherboard instead of it. Thankfully they sent me a much more expensive motherboard in replacement of the one I sent in.

Saying that I still buy from them because their services is great. Its only two years ago when I had terrible bad luck with Any Intel X38 Socket 775 mothgerboards that I had to RMA motherboards (five in the space of two months) because every one of them died after two or three days through no fault of my own. Thankfully this motherboard is still going at about 80% reliability since september 2008.

One thing to watch out for is the delivery times can be optimistic at times. Factor in a couple of extra days to be on the safe side.

I've also bought plenty of things off them in the last 4 or 5 years, never once had a problem with anything.

They've been very helpful over in their own forum too with any queries I've had in the past

They were terrible with me bought a hdd dvd recorder off them, it was faulty and they would not deal with me they sent me to LG who took it for about 6 months and sent it back with something rattling around inside it, and still not working right

So i have never used either of them since.
