Involved in FETACT/PLC courses? Your opinion, please....

I'm trying to figure out where the best place to put a FETAC forum is.

Here are our options:

FETAC sub-forum in T & L, with PLC forum as a standalone forum in Edu

Combined FETAC/PLC forum under Edu

Business as usual - all FETAC teaching stuff goes here in T & L, with a new PLC forum under Edu.

Can I just comment on the options? Really any of them would be ok but just to fine-tune it a bit:

Do we need to separate FETAC from T&L?
This does provide teachers with a discussion option separate from the student discussions.
Do we need to mention FETAC or would people recognise PLC as covering that area?

This puts all discussion, teachers and students, in one forum. I would prefer to see it separated.

Not quite business as usual. FETAC is recognised as teaching AND
There is also a student forum, PLC, in Education.

I voted for the third one though I would like to see the student forum 'PLC and FETAC'.

I admit I am being difficult about separating FE teaching from T&L, it might actually be a better option, though it might be better again to have three sub fora: 'Teaching', 'Lecturing' and 'FE'.

(I am typing this with great difficulty as I have a cat laying across my arm )

Ok, I'm confused.

Are you saying a general PLC/FETAC under Edu and keep all Teaching (be it FETAC/2nd/3rd Level) in T & L?

Yes, as in option 3. I tend to explain things to death, its a consequence of FE teaching
