MAG P90 Mid-Cap Problem

I just got a box of MAG 170rd Mid-Cap Magazines for my P90 off ehobby. The mags constantly double-feed or miss-feed bbs, along with jamming quite often. I've oiled the mags, and did everything else I could think of to try and get them to feed properly with no luck.

I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems, or any ideas on how to fix it?

The AEG I'm using is a GFC P90, with the only changes I've made bring a guarder clear silicone hop up rubber, and a TK twist barrel.

We've also tried different brand BB's yielding the same results.

And the mags don't fill fully either. It looks as though the follower jams the BB's. Anyone have any idea's?

I was actually quiet shocked/disappointed at how crap these magazines are as MAG are usually a great brand of magazine.

I got a box of them off South East Airsoft and i think they are brilliant, oiled them up when i got them and cant find anything that feeds better. I have a Classic Army P90 and was using raptor BB's.

I'm not really interested in selling them to be honest. Just interested in gettting them fixed.

After filling and emptying the mags over and over they can now be filled fully. I am leaving one of the mags loaded overnight to weaken the spring, to see if the spring being too strong is causing the double feeding.

I got these mags off SE airsoft and one thing I noticed was they were tough to break in, I even broke a speedloader lol. I find the best way to get them to fully load is hold the palm of your hand over your speedloader, make sure the mag is on a flat surface and slam (not too hard) down with the palm of your hand, not easy to do in the field but works everytime. As for the double feed can't say I've had that issue, I have had one or two jams but a quick slap and the jam cleared, lucky I noticed the jam before using the mag.

I nearly broke a speed loader as well! I've found that that technique, of using you palm is quite effective as well. So now I can actually load them properly. Also some of them are still jamming pretty bad, and require a quite forceful hit or for me to nearly fully dissamble the mag, before they become un-jamed.

i know this is an old thread an it has prob been resolved by now but for anyone who has similar issues!
a mag isn't the issue if yout gun is double feeding, it is the tappet plate in your gearbox
and with new mid cap mags you need to gradually work them up to max capacity only half fill em for a while and slowly work your way uo to the max it can hold
