I have just got myself a 16gb iPhone 3GS, so the next task is to transfer all info from my Nokia E51 over to the iPhone. There was no problem transferring my contacts as they were already on the SIM card. However how do i transfer other info such as calender entries, text messages, photos, videos etc? I have searched both boards.ie and the net but can't find a solution.

    All suggestions are most appreciated!

    cheers

You could bounce them off a Google/Gmail account if you have one: instructions for various devices is here. I was syncing a Windows Mobile device with Google before I got an iPod Touch, and setting that up to sync was painless.

On the iPod/iPhone side, you set up an Exchange ActiveSync account (not "Gmail"), enter the server details for m.google.com, and say you want to sync Calendars, Contacts, and Mail too if you want.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
