Lexar USD 8 gig problem

    Hi
    I bought an Lexar USB drive 8 gig in PC World yesterday.
    But my iMac keeps ejecting it and saying "the disk was not ejected properly"
    it happened on vista machine earlier and i just changed the USB port and it was fine then.
    But on my imac keeps ejecting it no matter what USB port it is in.I download a driver for it but still the same.
    Anyone have any ideas or is the Lexar fecked.
