Just got one today. Actually, just tested it about ten minutes ago. It's nice:D
No more picking up the grenade to throw it back - oh no. Now it'll go off nicely when it hits a hard surface. Room/building clearing is now gonna be slightly easier.
Also, unlike the timed grenade, you can pull the pin and hold it while waiting for an opportunity to use it (i.e. if you're legging it up to a building under cover fire!) - it'll only go off with a sharp impact (so safe to run around with - but drop it even a foot and it'll go off with a nice bang).
I love these things. I have a timed tornado as well and I think I prefer the impact. Not sure how it'll work it it lands in something soft (like scrub) - it needs a jolt to go off (i.e. hard surface). But we'll see after a skirmish or two!

Something like a 24' drop on something like grass to set it off and 1' on hard sufaces. Im looking fordward to getting one, prerfect for booby traping rooms you need to defend. Leave it resting on a door handle or on a trip and whoosh there it goes
