Any one using one of these, thinking of buying it for a little portable recording setup i am creating.

I need a little midi controller and a lower lever noise input to my Samsung Netbook(NB30) than the mic in. I like the fact that this seems to do both midi and has all these great effects.

As an aside I started using reaper on it and I love it, especially the way the vst and JS effects can be applied in real time.

Well I've got a toneport ux2, to be honest, cant really fault it much. Never had issue's with it either.

Line6 seem to do decent gear for something small like what you're looking for. Any as you mentioned, you've the mic in with it. But there'd also be an instrument in.

Think there stuff comes with the basic version of PodFarm by default now as well. Which means you'll have a pretty nifty (Vox / GTR / Bass) amp emulator you can run as a VST also.
