iphone mic volume

    I just tried to use the speakerphone during a call today and the other person could not hear me, unless I was right beside the phone, making it pointless. I also tried the voice memo app and the needle barely moves while speaking at a normal volume. Has anyone else noticed that the mic is crap?

    Mine is working fine, did you try restart.

    Just compared it to my friend's one today, same issue. iPhone must just have a poor quality mic

    Yup the mic is crap basically.

    Tried just testing it at a concert a while back....couldn't pick up anything (in the bad way, that there was too much intwrfence or it was just plainly too loud for my phones mic.
    Other people I knew apparntly had pretty clear sound when they rang people during it.
