    Hi All,

    Just realised I am a member of boards.ie for 10 years now.

    I think I should submit more posts now that I have passed that milestone as 350 posts in ten years is not exactly a record breaker or could it be for the least amount of posts

    PS. I think I even remember the night in question that I first joined. It was a quake night in the Nethouse Internet cafe in Renelagh. I wonder if it is still there.....

    Sadly it was probably about Quake :o

    Whats more sad is most posters here now will need it explained that Quake was one of the first online FPS games that people could play online :(

    Am amazed at this thread. I bought a computer for the kids christmas 1997 when they were in secondary and college to help them be computer literate. Within months discovered the internet and became addicted and spent the next 11 years in political chatrooms mainly until I accidentally discovered this great site and sister sites in November. All them years talking rubbish to foreigners and I could have been talking rubbish to my own ! Shame on me !
    Still, I have to ask, how the heck did I not know about them ?
