    but 2 problems,
1). i know have two full autos instead of a semi and a full, does this mean i cant go airsofting again, due to not being able to chrono??

2). if i bring it to the shop and want to get it fixed wil it cost extra??

    thanks,
    SONIC

(if the thread is in the wrong place can a mod please move it, cheers)

sound like the selector mech is a bit "off",
if you bring it to a techie it will cost you a small fee im sure, as even if it was still covered by warrenty when the wire broke, by opening it yourself to do the repair, the warrenty was void'd (did i just make up a new word there?)

You(He) assembled the selector incorrectly/connected the wiring in such a way that the semi slider is bypassed.

First thing to try is reassemble the selector:
The lines on all the cogs should line up, its an easy thing to miss.
The lever in the gearbox needs to be in the "track" of the cog.
The lever must be sprung so that in interacts with the shuttle that controls semi.

If this doesnt work, he's wired it wrong. Did he open the gearbox itself at all?
